We just picked up a show for this Friday, July 18th at The Dry Bean in Madison (5264 Verona Road, just off the beltline) -- this is easily one of the best clubs in Madison, and it's our first time here. How good of a club is it? Well Bret Michaels (of Poison and VH1's Rock Of Love fame) had his VIP After Show Party there last Saturday --- and if it's good enough for Bret Michaels, it's good enough, dammit. Just think of all the other clubs that had to move into his rock and roll palace in the Hollywood Hills and compete for his heart ---- and this was the one he picked! And is it a coincidence that he had his party a mere week before we were playing there? I think not. So --- come see Random Maxx at the Madison club handpicked by Bret Michaels.

Wow – hard to believe it’s been a month since we’ve posted. Hey, we just wanted to let you know we haven’t forgotten about you, and we’re gearing up to have another awesome summer! However, we have to say goodbye to a few members of Random Maxx – Erin Schlecht and Terry Schroeder have decided to leave for other pursuits. We want to thank both Erin and Terry for the years they have devoted to the band, and we wish them the best in their other endeavors. Stop by the guestbook and leave a message wishing them well!

We are in the process of auditioning new drummers for the band, and in the meantime, our old friend Steve Gaulke will be helming the drums until a permanent replacement is found. We’ll see you very soon!

The show so nice, we're doing it twice! That's right, folks...Random Maxx is heading out to Riverside, Iowa this weekend for shows on Friday and Saturday night at the new, immaculate, and delicious Riverside Casino and Golf Resort.

I personally have heard from several of you who were thinking of road-tripping out there and partying with us...go for it! And since our lovely keyboardists are fluent in the language of Irish dancing, you can bet there will be a few surprises.

Still need a reason to come on out? This will be the last Random Maxx show for "Maxx Flyy" Terry Schroeder, who has done a bang-up job for us behind the kit for the past year. It saddens me to see him go, as his passion, precision, and ability to solo are second to no drummer we've ever had. Come give him the honor he deserves, and maybe he'll show you a thing or two about winning at Poker when the music is through!
