See you at the show!
In honor of Terry's pending nuptials, Bo will attempt to play the hot pink recorder, Mark will throw manic laughing into the middle of any song he feels fits, Jamie will be goin' all vanilla ice on your asses, Jake will lay down the groove with Statler and Waldorf, and Steve will rock the drum kit from behind a life-sized Terry Schroeder cutout.
This is a show you won't want to miss. Be sure to come on out and buy us lots of shots so we show up hungover to the wedding the next day --- the first wedding in a long time that we won't actually have to WORK... well, except Jamie. She's singing the Ave Maria at mass. So buy her one less shot. Although, she's Irish-Catholic and can handle that whiskey like nobody's business, so maybe buy her extra. She may sing better...who knows?!
Ale House Friday. Do it!
Hey y'all! THANKS so much to all of you who came out to hang with us at State Fair last week! We had some flipping awesome shows, and a lot of that is thanks to you, our amazing fans!
Just because summer is coming to a close, that doesn't mean Random Maxx is cooling down! Just this week, we've got three --- yes, THREE public shows!
On Tuesday, we're heading out west to Sun Prairie for the third and final installment of their Concert in the Park series for the summer! We will be playing from 6-8 p.m., starting with family entertainment and activities at 5 p.m. Check out this article for an exclusive interview with our very own Mark Redlich on this show, and for more information on this evening!
Friday, we'll be rockin' one of our all-time favorite venues...the Milwaukee Ale House! Did you know that they pretty much have the best locally-brewed beer in the city?! Yup. It's true. Mark knows. Plus. It's our friend Melissa's birthday. You probably don't know her but if you do, buy her shots. And even if you don't know her...buy her shots. And Jamie. She likes whiskey. And Milwaukee Brewing Company Beer. Heck. This night is gonna be awesome. So be there.
Lastly, we round out the week with a Saturday afternoon appearance at Richfield Days (held at Richfield Firemen's Park)! We had a blast here last year, despite the rainy weather; it should be a great time again this year! In addition to a weekend-long softball tournament, there will be a raffle! Yup...that's right...and the grand prize is a live 220 pound pig! I mean, why would you NOT buy raffle tickets?? We are opening up for The Mantz Brothers, who are sure to put on a rockin' show after us as well. So come on out and enjoy food, rides, music, refreshments and fireworks, and if you stick around overnight, you'll get to see a parade on Sunday!
Woot! Hope to see you at one of our shows this week. #summer
Hi everyone! The show at Siebkens Resort in Elkhart Lake last month was awesome -- thanks to everyone who was out there and making it one of the best shows this summer!
The next few days we have a couple of awesome shows coming up at the WI State Fair. Here's the scoop. First on Sunday, Aug 9, we are at the Apollo Stage performing an acoustic trio show -- featuring the newly Scottish Bo Johnson, our smartest lady in the band, Jamie Schlecht, and ex-KID from Wisconsin, Mark Redlich. We will be playing 3 acoustictacular sets from 5pm to 9pm.
Then on Tuesday, Aug 11, we plug everything back in (even Mark), and rock the Budweiser Pavilion from 3pm to 6:30pm before the Metal Men take over at 7pm. We are excited to be playing right smack dab in the middle of the fair. Middle day, middle time, middle location. Plus, this is our first time on the Bud Pavilion and we need you to help make sure it's not our last -- it'll be a high-octane day of great music -- don't miss out!
Later this month, we have shows in Sun Prairie, Richfield, and back at the Ale House -- stay tuned!
