New Pics. Facebook. Markives. Word.
Feb 8, 2010

Sup, y 'all!  Thanks so much to all who came out to Rubicon last night to rock with us!  Be sure to check out pictures from our last two gigs here on our photos page and on our Random Maxx Facebook fan page!  Maybe if you're lucky, we will post some new live recordings to which you can listen!

Now. We do not have another gig (as of now) until March 13th in Brookfield. In the meantime, if you are going through Random Maxx withdrawl, you can have some fun exploring The Markives.  Yes, that's right. The Markives.  Maybe this will explain it sufficiently...

"Before there was Random Maxx, there was a Scratchpad. From 1994 thru 1997, with a couple of songs trickling into 1998 --- a used Tascam 4-track (and before that a dual tape deck boom box), one guitar, one solid state amp, one mic, and one Yamaha QY10 drum machine. Nearly all the songs I'm posting here were written from 1990 - 1998, and recorded from 1994 - 1998.

Listen at your own risk. You can't "unlisten" to it once you have." ~Mark "The Hobbit" Redlich

Give it a listen. See if you like it. If not, Jamie will still be your friend.

There is nothing to see down here.  Scroll up and find something else to stare at with your beady little eyes.

Blog: Homegrown Sounds - Summerfest Day 10: Random Maxx
The Random Maxx Web site describes the group as a "vocal power pop" band. Maxx played at (Summerfest) 2:30 p.m. at the Miller Lite Oasis, and I was extremely impressed by the five Brew City musicians.
